GRSS ONE
Modern technology for the circular economy
GRSS ONE is a patented solution designed for the efficient recovery of secondary raw materials from used and damaged photovoltaic panels. The technology was developed by Polish engineers and manufactured in Europe.
About us
GRSS ONE is a long-standing manufacturer of recycling machinery and innovative solutions for the resource recovery industry. Technology ONE was created in response to the growing challenges related to photovoltaic panel recycling and the technological gap in the market.
Through intensive research and development, we created the world’s first mobile photovoltaic panel recycling machine, enabling efficient recovery of valuable materials such as aluminium, glass, copper and plastics. ONE technology can recycle a PV module in approximately 60 seconds.
Market Potential & Industry Challenge
The JRC report by the European Commission Joint Research Centre presents two scenarios for the annual mass of PV waste in 2030: Low scenario: approx. 1,695,407 tonnes. High scenario: approx. 2,345,304 tonnes.
This means an urgent need for efficient recycling and, at the same time, significant commercial potential for GRSS ONE technology in developed and emerging markets.

potential value of recovered materials by 2050
Photovoltaic panels are classified as electronic equipment requiring a high level of secondary raw material recovery.
EU requirements indicate 85% recovery efficiency, with at least 80% of materials prepared for reuse or further recycling.
The European Green Deal and ESG policies support circular economy solutions and investments in technologies critical to Europe’s raw material security.
Technology overview
GRSS ONE processes all generations of mono and bifacial panels, recovering glass, aluminium, copper, EVA/PVC and other fractions ready for further processing. Its mobile form enables recycling close to the waste source, without the need to build a large stationary plant.

Second life of materials
Aluminium, glass and polymer fractions can be used in construction, façade components, lighting fixtures and other industrial applications.
European manufacturing and know-how
GRSS ONE technology was entirely designed by Polish engineers. Component production takes place in Europe, while machine manufacturing and assembly are carried out in Poland.
